In their worst money grab attempt yet, Disney has announced they are basically going to start charging guests for the FREE Fast Pass system they had for over 22 years, which allows you to get on your favorite rides a bit quicker, as a benefit that was included with the already high cost of their theme park tickets.  After recently raising their theme park tickets to the highest prices in history, now the new Genie+ service, will offer you almost the same thing that Fast Pass did, but you will have to pay an additional fee for it on top of your ticket cost, except that even when you do pay for it, you get less because the most popular rides won't be included, unless you pay even more!

The purpose of this petition is to draw a line as guests before we end up seeing Disney charge you admission just to get into the park and then expand this system to require you to pay per ride and leave lower income families unable to experience the magic that Walt wanted to make accessible to everyone.  All who sign the petition, are asking The Walt Disney Company to stop their move to turn the theme parks into something that only wealthy people can enjoy.  This petition is being launched by a person who proudly owns Disney stock, so the Genie+ plan is not even supported by those who stand to benefit from the increased profits that are being put before the guest experience, which really should be the top priority. 

Each of us who sign the petition, commit to not spending even one penny on the new Genie+ system as a guest boycott of the greed of current Disney executives.  Aladdin wished for the Genie's freedom and we now demand freedom from outrageous fees!
