The 6th amendment clearly states the following:

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

The DC detainees have been held in solitary confinement conditions for nearly 8 months and have been denied access to basic human needs such as grooming and religious services. They haven’t even been allowed to shave since the day they were incarcerated. They have lost jobs, homes, family etc, while repeatedly denied bail. These men are facing unreasonable and harsh sentences on what only can be described as bogus and “TRUMPED” up charges. In addition, there are more detainees being held in other jails around the country who are being denied their right to a fair and speedy trial just like the DC detainees. There is no DUE PROCESS for any J6 defendant! 

These defendants have no choice but to put their lives in the hands of mostly politically biased public defenders. The enormity of these cases is overwhelming for these public defenders, and they are not equipped to properly defend the rights of these detainees. In addition, it appears that the majority of our Republican representatives have completely abandoned these Americans. With the exception of a handful, the rest have totally turned their backs on these people, and we know they will not stand by our sides and fight with us, so we need YOU to act now! We need all hands on deck! We need boots on the ground! We need the best of the best to help the J6 defendants reclaim their lives and see justice served.

If anyone TRULY wants to see justice for these defendants, the most important thing you can do is to donate to their legal defense. This cannot be emphasized enough! There will be no justice without the high-powered, incredibly expensive lawyers necessary to take on the DC courts and see justice prevail!
