The sun is the most prominent object in the sky, for at least 12 hours a day, so it makes sense that everyone knows about it. Since it affects so many people, it makes it even more scary what it is doing to humanity and, frankly, the whole world. Whether you love the sun or hate it, I'm sure that this passage will give you many reasons as to why this petition should be signed.

The sun is too hot. According to scientists, the surface of the sun is about 10,000 degrees F. That is too hot for any normal organism to survive. Despite knowing this, people still love the sun because they think Earth is far enough away from it to survive its intense heat. This is not true, and thinking for a second that it is makes you a nimrod. Have you ever gotten a sunburn? Guess where that came from. That's right, the sun. Sunscreen exists, but it also needs to be re-applied like every 2 seconds so it may as well not exist. 

It's too bright. You're telling me that there's this giant orb in the middle of the sky and I'm not supposed to look at it? That does not seem fair to me, especially because the sun can look at me all it wants and apparently there isn't a problem. People think we need the sun to see, but the moon is bright enough to light up the night and nobody is impressed at how good of a job it's doing. Plus, literally just get a flashlight. It isn't that hard to aid your vision.

How would we blow up the sun? Well, with government funds, a big enough nuke could be made to blow up the sun. That is what this petition is for, so Mr. President knows that the country, and frankly the whole world, cares. The only thing to make sure of is that we strike at night while the sun is asleep and can't defend itself., and we would need to find where the sun even goes at night. Has anyone even tried to figure that out?
