The district councils of the south east have planned a mass slaughter of kangaroos.  They are trying to make a commercial profit from the murder of our native animals. They like to claim that they are in plague proportions, this is simply untrue. The reason you sometimes see a large mob of kangaroos is because they have been pushed out of their natural habitat by mass deforestation and land clearing. They also like to claim that they are a danger to drivers, also completely untrue, drivers here are some of the worst in Australia, high speeds is the cause of most accidents here as well as drink driving. Please help us put an end to this barbaric slaughter. Kangaroos have complex family units and to kill one has a bad chain reaction for the rest of the mob.
