I am deeply concerned about a public official who identifies himself as a Christian, Filipino, and an ambassador of the Philippines to the UK. This individual continually broadcasts ideas of violence, racism, and Islamophobia - beliefs that are not only harmful but also divisive. His actions are in stark contrast to our shared values of peace, unity, and respect for all individuals regardless of their race or religion.

It is alarming that such views are being propagated by someone in his position. The role he occupies should be one that promotes understanding among diverse groups rather than sowing seeds of discord. His behavior is not representative of the Filipino community nor does it reflect Christian teachings which advocate for love and acceptance.

Public officials hold significant influence over society's attitudes and behaviors. Their words can either promote harmony or fan the flames of hatred. It's crucial we hold them accountable for their actions.
