Calgary transit charges $11.25 for passengers taking the bus 300 to downtown from Calgary Airport (YYC). That's 7.65$ more than a regular fare. 

Although, it usually makes sense to charge extra for the airport bus; this fee should not apply to Calgary airport workers who are simply commuting to and from work. 

This problem could be simply resolved by waiving the extra fee for holders of a YYC RAIC, a practice that other international airports in Canada have already adopted. Unfortunately, Calgary Transit has indicated that they are unable to make changes to their current fee schedule and that the only way things will change is if the request comes directly from YYC Airport Authority. But YYC Airport authority has been turning a blind eye to the problem for many years.
