The Status of the Bangalore Mysore Expressway is being declared as 80 percent complete as of 9th of  Dec 2021. Please refer to a news article published on starofmysore.com  

However, driving through the roads now clearly indicates this is not true.

1. Not a single bypass road is complete

2. Many flyovers are incomplete

3. Not even 5 km of continuous stretch is ready for travel

4. Frequent users of the road have complained about the incorrect reporting.

The expressway is a significant initiative by the central government and will benefit the people. However incorrect status reporting is setting wrong expectations. The MP of the Mysore region has been repeatedly using the highway as an agenda to make videos and press releases. Such incorrect reporting shows ineffective governance. 

Request clarification from your esteemed office about the incorrect reporting and what are the parameters used to declare 80 percent complete.
