Non-dom status is an outdated loophole which allows a few wealthy people who were born abroad or who's fathers were born abroad to avoid paying up to a £1 billion in UK tax (source - EU Tax Observatory).

Money raised from abolishing non-dom status could help to tackle the recruitment crisis in the NHS.
