This is the alarm sounded by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, reflecting the findings of the 2021 Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

In response to the findings, we call on the government of the United States to do our part to avoid subjecting our grandchildren to utter catastrophe!

•  Replace all dirty fuels, (coal, oil, gas, and nuclear) with renewable sources of energy. Quadruple solar and wind capacity by 2030 as the IPCC recommends. Invest in clean and renewable energy supplies instead of wasting taxpayer dollars on the dirty fossil fuel and nuclear industries.  Build a Green infrastructure.
• Stop deforestation; instead plant trees in our urban areas to help modify soaring temperatures. Practice regenerative agriculture and sequester CO2 in the soil.
•  Mandate water conservation measures in the West and other locales affected by drought.
