Last month in February, a member on Fimficion.net almost took their own life in a suicide attempt because of the rampant transphobia from fellow members of Fimfiction after she told her story about her transition. They posted hateful comments and blog posts towards this individual because of her own to transition and nothing else. Thankfully, she’s still alive and is getting the help and support she needs, but it doesn’t change the fact these members who had pushed her to that point are still at large and have not been held accountable. 
Over the past few years I’ve noticed a lot of these suicide attempts and it’s usually due to cyber bullying, discrimination, and hate speech from our fellow bronies using religion, politics, or anything else at their disposal to attack people. Fimfiction.net has a no hate speech policy on their site, but it is not being enforced. If things do not change and these people aren’t held accountable for their actions, what will happen to the next person that gets bullied? What happens when they take their own life? Things ***cannot*** be allowed to reach that point, and the mods must take action!
Help stop the hate, bullying, and discrimination. We are a community who comes to this site to read, write, and post funny blog posts and these pastel colored horses we all love. It's time the mods start fully embracing the principles laid out in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
