As an avid user of PlayStation VR2, I've noticed a significant discrepancy in the gaming experience compared to standard screen play, particularly when racing. Key information such as lap times, opponents' positions, and locations on the full track are missing from our view. This lack of data significantly impacts our ability to strategize and fully enjoy the immersive experience that virtual reality offers.

Research shows that effective HUDs can greatly enhance a player's gaming experience by providing real-time information which is crucial for decision-making during gameplay (Source: Journal of Game Studies). In racing games specifically, knowing your position relative to other players and understanding your performance through lap times are integral parts of strategic gameplay.

The current HUD design for PS VR2 falls short in providing these essential details. This not only diminishes our enjoyment but also puts us at a disadvantage when competing with players using standard screens.

We would like Polyphony Digital - the developer behind GT7- to improve the HUD for PS VR2. By doing so, they will not only enhance our gaming experience but also reaffirm their commitment to making virtual reality gaming as immersive and competitive as possible.

Major pain point highlighted by the community are :

1) Can't see the times between players in race

2) Can't see the names of players in front and behind us (dirty drivers lookout)

3) Can't see who is pitting when - what tyres they had

4) Can't see who's made the best lap & best time

5) Can't see messages in multi players mode

6) No on screen warning about fuel when fuel getting low
