A private landowner group has offered the land adjacent to Kinderton Village to Homes Urban, a developer.  The developer's plan is inconsistent with the Town of Bermuda Run's zoning overlay.  Rather than search for a new lot or build to the existing zoning permissions, the builder is seeking a conditional rezoning so they can nearly double their rental income on the lot.

If successful, the influx of residents and their vehicles will turn nearly 1800 existing residents into traffic hostages.  The small access road to our development will be constantly clogged.  The hospital across the state road from Kinderton Village will be inaccessible at peak traffic times.  

This is the third application for apartments since 2020, setting Bermuda Run on track to become a rental town.  This high-density apartment complex would bring Bermuda Run rental residences totaling 28%.  

Stop Bermuda overRun!  Vote NO! on rezoning.  As homeowners and constituents in this town, we want smart growth, not urban sprawl!
