Why this petition matters

Started by Rita Czarnecki

Hi, my name is Rita Czarnecki and I am taking a stand for pitbulls in my community! I believe the ban for pitbulls should be uplifted because pitbulls are not so vicious as you think! Yes, there has been people who abused their pits and got them into dog fighting,  become vicious, etc. BUT, fact, all dogs can be vicious! My younger sister and aunt have been bit by German Shepards!, I've had a border collie chase me down the block before! And a little Weiner dog got vicious with me too. But NEVER have I encountered a vicious pitbull. You know why? Because their owners have treated them right and TRAINED them the correct way! My boyfriend and I have a 9 month old pit and let me tell you he is the SWEETEST thing you will EVER meet! You know why? Because we never abused him. We never taught him it was okay to bite. We taught him that we are the alphas and that he needs to listen to us, we discipline him. Just like you would do with a child! He loves to play with everyone and is always overly excited. But never will he attack another dog or person. We brought him around many people and other dogs while he grew up to teach him everyone is his friend. As of right now, he lives in Cudahy with my boyfriend. I want to uplift this law so I can bring him into St. Francis comfortably so I don't have to worry about him being taken away. I want to show people how sweet my little baby is, because not every pitbull is vicious.
