This lock down planned by central and state government is having major negative effects on the elderly, chronically ill and differently abled segments of our society.

 

We Need Immediate Actions for: 

 

(1) Ensured medical supplies.

(2) Transportation/ Movement of the helpers/ Care givers of the people with Disability, Elderly People and People with Chronic Diseases.

(3) The Medical Utilities Prices Should Not Increased. These are Essentials For the Community and The Prices have been Increased. 

(4) Passes For the Care Givers should be Provided with Ease.

 

People from the community are also struggling to get access the basic Medical supplies like catheters, urine bags etc. There is a shortage of stock in the market as these materials are not reaching the suppliers.

 

I in particular belong to the differently abled section of the society. This lockdown is having a major effect on my health and well-being in several ways. As I Need Daily Physiotherapy and I have a Bed Sore which needs Medical Dressing Everyday.

 

Despite the regulations passed the execution of the same is still not taking place and this needs to be addressed with utmost emergency. For example movement of public transport for care takers or making a provision for the same. Sign my petition

 

The central and state government should take immediate action to resolve this without any delay, if not the lock down will result in greater harm as the differently abled community make up 2-3% of the Indian population.
