Gross Human rights violation by SDM AYUSH SINHA (Duty magistrate) ordering Police Personnel in a video to give lathi blows straight on the head i.e clear violation of Police code of conduct along with the law of the land. Thereby causing death of 1 farmer and seriously injuring many more
This is in response of an incident at Karnal on 30 August 2021 where farmers are peacefully protesting following the call of SKM ( Sanyukt Kisan Morcha) to boycott programs of ruling party in a constitutional way . But in response the administration act of brutality and oppression crossed all limits . The blood that seeps from the body of the farmers is self - evidentiary to prove all deeds. A farmer is succumbed to death while another one lost his eye-sight due to lathi blow on his Nose. While many more farmers got injured .Till now, no action has been taken against officials by the Haryana Government even the FIR has not been registered against the culprits.A legitimate dissent is the distinguished feature of any democracy .As Justice Iyer rightly said ; An unarmed, peaceful protest procession in the land of `salt satyagraha', fast-unto- death and `do or die' is no jural anathema. Organised, non-violent protest marches were a key weapon in the struggle for independence whereas Britishers used to do suck kind of brutal , unruly atrocities to curb the voice of Dissent. Right to peaceful protest is enshrined as a fundamental right in our Constitution under Article 19 (1) (b) .SIGN THIS PETITION FOR JUSTICE
Following Principles governing the use of force in law and police procedure are outlined in Police manuals ;
• Force should only be used when it is absolutely necessary, it should be minimum and proportional to the situation and its use should be discontinued as soon as the danger to life and property subsides. Also , methods of persuasion, advice and warning should be used. If however, the use of force becomes unavoidable then only the irreducible minimum force required in the circumstances should be used according to Principle 4, Code of Conduct for the Police in India.
* Lathi charge can only begin if the crowd refuses to disperse after suitable warning.Clear warning of the intention to carry out a lathi charge should be given through a bugle or whistle call in a language understood by the crowd.
* Lathi blows should be aimed at soft portions of the body and contact with the head or collarbone should be avoided .
* All help should be rendered to convey the wounded to the hospital.

Also , As a responsible member of the international community, India is bound by United Nations standards, which are the basis of many of our laws and regulations. To reiterate,the UN Basic Principles state that the use of force in dispersing non-violent unlawful assemblies should be avoided and if that is not possible, then minimum force should be used ( Section 13 U.N Basic Principles for the Use of Force and Firearms)
Keeping in mind the above mentioned rules and law , it is evident from the facts of the incident that Duty Magistrate acts with a pre - conceived notion to bleed farmers from the head whereas these acts are mere disquieting signals before Haryana becoming a lawless state by breaching basic human rights of citizens. So, we demand Suspension and lodging FIR on the concerned officials along with Duty magistrate with immediate effect to uphold the rule of law in Haryana thereby reviving public trust and confidence in law and order .
